Tribal Orcs
In the dense thickets, curled next to fiery climates made the already few Orcs cling to the trees. Sprouting from volcanic fissures Monoliths attracted many Voices. A great choir, all spoke for the tribe. They fought to see who would lead, which axe bled each other the quickest.
The Tribe pressed against the human incursion until the Voices died out. Bitter and broken SightStealers, dragged their families from their homes to find new lives.
Fight
Connecting was infrequent in the tribe. The spirit had left the Orcs, apathy settled in their roots. Soon, however, a new vision was brought before the few who remained.
The Gazer Matriarchs spoke of the spirit that the Tribe needed. All in this world was in preparation for the next. This pact of Gazers drew many young to the new dawn.
Those answering the call waited in the dense thickets, but in this there was preparation.
Rest
The Matriarchs took the Spirits within themselves, passing on the ancestral knowledge that bound them to their heaven.
In circles they would sit chanting around the Monolith, breathing new life into what had died. All Gazers felt the wake of the Spirit's call, so they followed it.
After the choir dispersed, it was once again that the Jungle tribe was few. There were those who practiced, but the followers of the spirit had spread themselves far to grow their home.
Quiet persisted, the chanting was sung by one, but the call to the Spirits was only a swansong to draw shattered remnants to a new home. Their struggle with the humans faded. A war of loyalties brought on by the waited judgement of the orcs could be fought not more.
Return
For Norenian Orcs their new home was a strange callback to the omens against the humans. Few remained, but those who did fought hard to keep what remained.
The call was answered, and the Voice returned to the tribe, but with this there was a new call.
The Spirits challenged the Voice, was the vision of the strength of the orcs only forgotten because of their unwillingness to commit? Many Orcs had taken the path of a human lifestyle, uncommitted to the Monolith. Their ways were dying, and so were they.
Now it is the Orcs who must decide if the old paths are upheld. Their decision will be told by the spirits to come.
Racial Relations
- With High Elves: Indifferent. As long as they do not interfere, they are welcome within. The mechanical standards of the growing modern world, however, distances them from a true relationship with the Orcs.
- With Wood Elves: Respectful. Their appreciation for nature marrys with dedication for their lost Goddess. In many ways, the Orcs wish to return as the Elves do, and in this they wait together.
- With Dark Elves: Respectful. Deep dwellings allow for little conflict. Their dedication to worldly magics makes their practices welcome within Orcish lands.
- With Dwarves: Indifferent. As long as the borders of the Tribe remain the same then there is no need for any struggle.
- With Orcs: Generally indifferent. Any Orc is welcome to become a part of the Tribe, but is the Orc that must choose for themselves if the old ways should remain.
- With Humans: Hated/Complicated. It is impossible to forget the wars of the past, but opposites attract in thought and in love. While wounds have yet to be healed, the ways of the Humans creep into Tribal homes more and more.
